Positive Perserverance

Positive Perseverance Counseling Services, LLC is a private practice that assist individuals overcome life challenges from anger, depression, anxiety, and relational/family conflicts. PPCS also provides clinical supervision to therapist that are aspiring to be Independently Licensed Professional Counselors. Along with counseling and supervision, we provide consultation and training to other counseling agencies.

Phaedra Brown, M.Ed. LPC, CACII, CAMSII, CPCS
Owner/Therapist

Phaedra Brown has a Masters of Education degree in School Counseling from Albany State University in Albany, GA. She has been in the practice of counseling since 2011. She is a fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Certified Addition Counselor Level 2 (CACII), Certified Anger Management Specialist, Lever 2 (CAMSII), and Certified Professional Clinical Supervisor (CPCS).

She has worked with children, adolescents, adults, and families in the home, school, community, group homes, and foster placements. She is trained in many areas of therapeutic modalities and evidence based practices such as Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), Anger Management, and Collaborative Problem Solving. She has a passion for the counseling field and desires to empower individuals through counseling or being a gatekeeper of the counseling profession.


INDIVIDUAL COUNSELING

Individual Counseling: Positive Perseverance Counseling Services, LLC is a private practice that assist individuals develop coping skills on an individual level to tackle interpersonal conflicts related to personal and professional development.



FAMILY COUNSELING

Family Counseling: Positive Perseverance Counseling Services, LLC is a private practice that assist family systems to determine how to communicate and function cooperatively as a unit by teaching skills to incorporate family routines, norms, and beliefs.



CHILD COUNSELING

Child and Adolescent Counseling: Counseling children form ages 5 – 17 by assisting them with using assertive communication in the home, school, and community while processing difficulties with peers and events that may have been traumatic for them.



CLINICAL SUPERVISION

Clinical Supervision: Providing a safe and supportive opportunity for aspiring Licensed Professional Counselors to engage in critical reflection to raise issues, explore problems, and discover new ways of handling both the situation and oneself.
